Cloncurry examines hot rocks find
Posted
Cloncurry in Queensland's north-west could be sitting on one of the world's biggest clean energy sites.
Hot geothermal rocks have been found at the newly-discovered Millungera Basin about 100 kilometres east of the town.
The basin was uncovered through the State Government's Smart Mining and Smart Exploration programs.
The Government says the find could mean cheaper, cleaner energy for Queenslanders in the future.
