After the Rains, the desert has come alive with flowers.
There are many small and tiny flowers everywhere that are delicate yet hardy.
There are no bees, or very few bees, so the plants have to rely on their own method of fertilization, and they bloom in abundance incompact groupings...Gum blossoms, flame tree and golden Rain Tree, and many weeds with sharp seedpods and colorful flowers.
